All Holland Sail ships are HISWA members. Both Holland Sail and HISWA prioritize quality. HISWA is a solid industry association with more than 900 members. It provides advice and support to its members so they can serve you, as a guest, in the best possible way. Renting a ship from a HISWA member always comes with added benefits. You can recognize these ships by the red-white-blue logo. Booking with a HISWA member means sailing without worries.

The HISWA general terms and conditions include a dispute resolution system. The independent commission "Geschillencommissie Waterrecreatie" (Water Recreation Dispute Committee) resolves potential disputes between you and a HISWA-affiliated business in a practical, swift, and professional manner.
HISWA also acts as a guarantor if one of its members does not comply with a binding decision. This is yet another reason to book your ship with a HISWA member.
HISWA General Terms & Conditions
HISWA members are required to follow the HISWA general terms and conditions. These terms have been established in collaboration with the ANWB (a Dutch organization similar to ADAC) and the Consumentenbond (comparable to the German Consumer Protection Association). As a result, HISWA businesses offer the clarity and security you desire as a guest.
Guarantee
Book with confidence: The HISWA association guarantees payments made to its more than 900 members. If a HISWA member cannot or will not carry out your trip, fails to arrange a replacement ship, and does not refund your payment, HISWA will step in. The dispute committee makes a binding decision, and HISWA will immediately refund the amount you paid—up to a maximum of €10,000 per booking.
